Your spouse is your advantage in life, not your adversary. You can’t accomplish all God has prepared for you together if you see him/her as your opponent. See them as an asset in your life! An asset is defined as a useful or valuable thing or person. Don’t treat them as insignificant to you. How you view him/her is exactly what they’ll become.

Also, ensure you are an asset to your spouse. Examine yourself; are you really an advantage to him/her? Are you really a helper? A helper is one who makes things easier for another person. Is that you? Or are you a concern; part of the problem? Strive to be a helper indeed! An advantage indeed!
