As one desiring marriage, focus more on asking God for the spouse you NEED, not the spouse you WANT. Most of us are quick to detail all the qualities of the type of spouse we want. The one you want may not really be the best for you. The one God knows you need carries more value than the one you want.

There’s nothing wrong with desiring a certain type of person and voicing it but remember to seek for the one who is best for you, that is the one who will bring out your best, the one who will draw you closer to God and help you fulfill your assignment on earth.
